What your day as a VAT Advisor looks like:
- Tailored advice on VAT and taxation
You are the tax sparring partner for business owners and colleagues and translate complex VAT legislation into clear, actionable insights:

- You advise (inter)national clients and your colleagues in all areas of taxation, but especially in the field of (complex) VAT issues.
- You provide assistance with ad hoc tax questions
- You also take on larger projects independently and bring them to a successful conclusion, such as the optimization of VAT flows, conducting due diligence investigations and VAT audits
- You will guide our client towards further growth and/or internationalization, with particular attention to its impact on VAT aspects
- You follow up on tax news and share relevant updates with clients and colleagues to inform and inspire them
- VAT reporting and compliance
You ensure that clients fulfill their VAT obligations correctly and efficiently:

- You will support VAT reporting and related obligations such as Intrastat and assist clients in setting up the appropriate processes to meet their obligations without concern
- You are responsible for dialogue with the tax administration, both for assistance with tax audits and for drafting and guiding prior decisions and ruling requests

- A love of VAT and the desire to assist companies?
A degree in economics or law, possibly supplemented with training in taxation, is a plus. But what really counts is your passion for VAT and your desire to assist entrepreneurs.
