Focus on innovation and entrepreneurship
The JCI West Flanders Young Entrepreneur election is an annual celebration of ambition and creativity. It offers a stage to young entrepreneurs whose vision, perseverance and innovation are making a lasting impact in their sector.
The three finalists, who were presented yesterday during the kick-off in our Roeselare office, will be at April 3, 2025 compete for the coveted title.
- Michiel De Backer, Ark-Shelter Lichtervelde: alternative way of building modular & sustainable timber frame construction. This through hyper efficient assembly in its own factory hall where transportation to and from the site is saved as much as possible. The focus is on design & ecology combine harmoniously, location is also not lost sight of.
- Nick Snauwaert, Strategist HR Roeselare: HR service provider for K.M.O.'s by strengthen them in the personnel field. Their pillars are in-house recruitment, recruitment campaigns through social media and HR consulting/strategy. An on-site HR expert with their clients. What makes them unique is the combination of HR expertise and recruitment marketing that is entirely in-house.
- Erik Vermeersch, NSAC - North Sea Aviation Center Ostend: all-in-one terminal for business aviation and general aviation from Ostend-Bruges International Airport. With sustainable hangars and exclusive facilities, they offer a home base for aircraft, helicopters and their passengers. They help entrepreneurs and individuals fly internationally by advising in rentals and sales of private aircraft. Their team of experts is committed to customer value where a relationship of trust is essential.
