For the second year in a row, Titeca pro accountants & experts may receive the Voka Charter for Sustainable Business (VCDO). VCDO is a tool that supports and strengthens corporate sustainability policies. "Sustainability is ingrained in our corporate vision and the DNA of our company. This laureate position is another great confirmation of the way we approach sustainability within Titeca," says partner and CEO Jurka Vanthournout.
This year's action plan impressed Voka's evaluation committee. Through a materiality matrix, a longlist of 48 action points was narrowed down to a shortlist of 14 overarching areas that have impact at four levels. These points form the core of the 2025 action plan and show how Titeca is committed to sustainability at different levels within the company and beyond.

Sustainability working group within the ITAA, where Titeca participates in policy advice and knowledge sharing within the industry. Seminars and presentations at the ITAA congress inspire accountants to include sustainability in their services. Guest lectures at Flemish colleges prepare future accountants for a future in which sustainability plays a central role.
In particular, the way we invest in the future of our industry impressed the evaluation committee. Because at Titeca, we believe that true sustainability transcends self-interest. That is why we actively pursue collaboration with industry peers to make the accountancy sector more attractive to new talent and thus ensure the well-being of our employees and the industry.
Initiatives such as Accountants of Tomorrow and Together Impact, which we put our shoulders to the wheel, are concrete examples of this. But also through sector organizations such as ITAA, guest lectures at colleges, and by organizing B2B inspiration sessions for other companies, we actively contribute to knowledge sharing, talent development and strengthening the image of the profession. By joining forces, we are addressing labor market shortages and building a sector that is ready for the challenges of tomorrow. This approach is part of our broader sustainability strategy, which focuses on social responsibility, shared progress and long-term thinking. Because only by working together do we make a truly sustainable impact.
