Change position double bridging duty for stores by appointment

Although the Federal Government had initially communicated that the self-employed who operate a "non-essential" store would be eligible for the double bridging entitlement, Minister of Self-Employment David Clarinval reversed that earlier communication on 30/03.

Only if it is impossible to open a store by appointment and a retailer can only operate through deliveries, the retailer is entitled to the double bridging entitlement.

Store owners who continue to receive customers by appointment can only invoke the single bridging right due to a decline in sales.
