Tourism Flanders is co-investing in the further development of tourist accommodation in Flanders through accommodation subsidies.
The 2023 annual call is still open through July 31.
For whom?
- Tourist lodgings recognized according to the Logies Decree of February 5, 2013
- Youth residences recognized as of December 31, 2022, according to the Tourism for All Decree of July 18, 2003
For what?
- Energy-saving investments (only in the case of renovation and renewal construction, not new construction):
- Roof, attic floor, cavity wall, exterior wall, interior wall, floor, or basement insulation
- Insulation of pipes
- High-efficiency glass and exterior joinery
- A new natural gas boiler (to replace an old natural gas boiler)
- A new natural gas boiler (replacing a fuel oil boiler)
- A heat pump (provided that it does not serve as a replacement for a non-fossil system such as a heat pump, heat pump boiler or solar water heater)
- A heat pump boiler (provided it does not serve as a replacement for a non-fossil system such as a heat pump, heat pump boiler or solar water heater)
- A solar water heater (provided it does not serve as a replacement for a non-fossil system such as a heat pump, heat pump boiler or solar water heater)
- A ventilation system (provided it is placed in a building that does not already have a ventilation system and is still fossil heated after renovation)
- Investments in sustainability:
- Water conservation measures
- Reuse of wastewater
- Reuse of rainwater
- Construction or establishment of RV sites
- Investments to meet The specific fire safety standards of the lodging decree (for youth accommodations only).
How much?
Youth lodgings receive 60% of eligible costs, other lodgings 40%.

Until July 31, 2023, you can apply for a grant at the grant portal of Tourism Flanders.
