What Your Day as a Back-end Developer Will Look Like:
As a Back-end Developer, you play a key role in building our platforms and applications. You ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You help build a composable, API-first architecture and translate user needs into concrete, sustainable solutions. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues from other IT fields.
- Development and Construction
- You will develop and optimize backend applications and actively contribute ideas on how to make them work better and more efficiently
- You’ll help build our platform and internal tools and contribute to a composable, API-first architecture integrated with Titeca’s data and integration landscape, translating user needs into concrete solutions that are actually used
- Connecting and Integrating
- You build and maintain connections between different systems using APIs and integrations
- You'll work with various data sources and ensure that everything works together reliably, accurately, and scalably
- Optimize and Automate
- You'll help brainstorm ways to automate processes and streamline workflows
- You optimize existing applications and ensure that they remain high-performing and future-proof
- Quality and Structure
- You ensure code quality, performance, documentation, and maintainability, and use version control in a structured manner
- You ensure that solutions not only work, but are also designed to be clear and sustainable
- You will work according to modern development practices such as version control, testing, and continuous improvement of code quality.
- Cooperation and Coordination
- You’ll work closely with colleagues from development, data, workplace, and applications to ensure that systems and integrations are properly aligned and integrated with our data and AI operations

You have experience with backend development and find it energizing to build and improve applications that are used effectively. - Knowledge and Technology
You have knowledge of backend technologies (such as PHP, Laravel, etc.) and databases (SQL), and feel comfortable working in an environment involving APIs and integrations. - Analysis and Problem-Solving Thinking
