Are you already aware of the mandatory annual confirmation of the UBO register?
All registrations made before April 30, 2020 were automatically confirmed by the registry. This gave these registrations the new deadline of April 30, 2021. There was therefore time until that date to upload and reaffirm the mandatory supporting documents.
It was decided (April 13, 2021) to extend this deadline to August 31, 2021.
- If Titeca has already performed a new registration, modification or confirmation for you in the past, we will take care of this obligation for you. You do not need to take any steps yourself here.
- If Titeca has not yet taken action for you on the UBO register, we would like to remind you through this way not to lose sight of this obligation. Indeed, as of September 1, 2021, reporting entities will be subject to sanctions for non-compliance with this obligation.
The UBO Registry sends notification 1 month in advance each time if confirmation is required.
