"We strongly believe in the potential of our people. They are our most valuable working capital, and by investing in their well-being, we show how much we value them," explained general manager Lizbeth Nowé.
To measure is to know
"Last year we achieved the Great Place to Work label for the first time, we're going for that again this year," says Lizbeth. This label, which you earn through a satisfaction survey of all employees, underscores Titeca's commitment to job happiness, team bonding and strong relationships not only with each other but also with supervisors.
On top of that, Titeca annually measures employee satisfaction in various areas, including mental well-being, exercise and ergonomics. "The surveys give us insight into where we stand on various aspects of well-being and where we can still improve. Our resilience and support from colleagues and managers score particularly high," she adds.
How do employees respond?
When asked how colleagues are responding to these wellness initiatives, Lizbeth answers enthusiastically, "The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Not only do we organize sporting events and offer sportswear for physical well-being, but we also address mental well-being by actively working to reduce workloads and introducing flex hours."
In addition to physical and mental well-being, the focus is also on social well-being. "It is also very important to ensure the social involvement of the employees. Enough fun activities are planned, we make sure that every colleague feels supported in the job and knows that he is making a real impact."
What will the future bring?
Looking to the future, Lizbeth shares Titeca's plans to continuously improve employee well-being. "We are focusing on optimizing workloads, increasing engagement and ensuring transparency within the company. With clear communication, including a transparent pay policy and clear career prospects, we want to create an environment where every employee feels valued and supported."
